In the current economy, business travelers are looking for added value, favoring hotels that offer amenities that deliver both convenience and comfort.

In its 2010 Workstyles Study, Homewood Suites polled 549 extended-stay business travelers about the amenities they value most while traveling.

The survey found that complimentary Internet, full-sized refrigerators and microwaves are the top three amenities travelers wish came standard in hotel rooms, while free breakfast and Internet were the two most used amenities.

These must-haves are all provided complimentary in each of Homewood Suites 300+ hotels.

Bjorn Hanson, Dean of the Tisch Center Hospitality Program at New York University, said, "I applaud Homewood Suites for its research and enhancements to services and amenities. Extended-stay guests' needs and preferences have evolved, especially for increased value, and Homewood Suites is responding."
