EZYield.com, an originator of automated online distribution management solutions for the worldwide hospitality industry, has signed a connectivity agreement with Passkey, a leading provider of online group reservations technologies.

With this direct connection to Passkey, EZYield.com's hotel partners can adjust rates and inventory allotment to Passkey’s customized meetings and events Websites from the same interface they use to update more than 500 other distribution channels. With the EZYield.com and Passkey connectivity, hoteliers are now able to offer a wider variety of room upgrade and extended-stay options to all their group guests with minimal effort or risk, helping generate higher incremental revenue from their group business.

“The addition of Passkey to our long and growing list of connectivity partners is a major milestone for EZYield and a great enhancement for our hotel partners,” said Ed St. Onge, CEO of EZYield.com. “Passkey has revolutionized the group online booking paradigm, and this direct connection means that EZYield users can manage rates and inventory for all types of travelers—corporate, leisure and now groups—from a single Website.”

EZYield.com exists in the cloud, meaning that hoteliers can accurately monitor and adjust room rates and availability in near real time from anywhere in the world for a whole host of distribution channels from most Internet-connected devices. The ability to manage multiple channels on a group or individual basis with a few clicks of the mouse adds up to substantial time savings on a daily basis, allowing time for hotel revenue managers to yield new business by signing up and maintaining rate parity across more points of distribution.

Passkey's core product, GroupMAX, lets hoteliers in just minutes create customized booking Websites for any event, offering meeting planners an invaluable service while also giving prospective guests a simple way to book room nights. GroupMAX includes real-time inventory tracking, with customized event dashboards viewable by both the hotel and the meeting planners. More than 700 hotels worldwide already employ GroupMAX, which is unique in the meetings industry because of its ability to deliver guest reservations to nearly every major hotel system electronically, in a non-commissionable or fee-based channel.

Connectivity between the two hotel industry innovators is a natural and compelling step forward for both, says Greg Pesik, president and CEO of Passkey. "This is a first-of-its-kind integration that will enable hoteliers to not only automate rates and availability in their group channel, but to offer more upsell options to all of their group guests, resulting in greater incremental revenue and enhanced yield management."
