Launching NFL Network into a new arena, Tangerine Global—a leader in high-definition television (HDTV) programming for the five-star hospitality marketplace—has announced a worldwide deal with NFL Network.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tangerine will offer the hard-hitting sights and sounds of NFL Network programming in crystal clear high-definition (HD) to its luxury hotel partners around the globe. Tangerine recently kicked off the new deal by launching the network in Miami’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel, a host hotel for Super Bowl XLI, and will continue to roll out additional cities around the world for the 2007/2008 season.

"Tangerine Global has a commitment to deliver a compelling entertainment experience to luxury hoteliers,” said Stuart Levin, chief executive officer of Tangerine Global. “A sporting event’s power, action and beauty are a major rush when viewed in HD. Plus, sports programming is a primary force behind the growth of HDTV, so it was a natural choice to offer our sophisticated sport fans the incredible ‘NFL Network in HD’ viewing experience just in time for the Super Bowl.”

“Tangerine Global is leading the industry in delivering HDTV to the high-end hotel guest,” added NFL Network Senior Vice President Adam Shaw. “With football being one of the most popular sports to watch in HD worldwide, it was only fitting that we enlist Tangerine Global to expand us into the luxury hospitality market.”
