The Breakers Palm Beach Partners with Cendyn to Enrich Social Media Engagement for Weddings and Special Celebrations

In mid-2010, The Breakers engaged Cendyn, a leading full-service marketing firm specializing in turnkey solutions that drive bottom-line results, to enhance and implement a comprehensive multichannel social media marketing strategy.

The resort’s goal was to bolster promotion of its Weddings by The Breakers program as the number one luxury wedding destination in the United States.  Cendyn worked with The Breakers to enhance the property’s blog and Twitter presence and to develop and launch new YouTube and Facebook channels.  
 
The Breakers and Cendyn enhanced the social media program in fall 2010 and it is forecasted to deliver excellent results in 2011.  This new plan is designed to strengthen online engagement with prospective clients, improve Website traffic, and significantly increase wedding event bookings.

The Breakers worked with Cendyn to cross-market its marketing channels by adding social media links to Wedding Blog by The Breakers and actively encourage two-way communication to develop personal engagement.
 
Bever points to the content on customized Facebook tabs and social media posts to illustrate how the resort is leveraging its extensive social media experience and expertise to capture the attention of brides-to-be.  The site provides: 
  • The For our Fans and Experience tabs include calls to action, suggest resources for wedding and event planning that give opportunities to connect with The Breakers team on their blog, Website and Twitter.  The Experience tab allows brides to read rave reviews from happy Breakers’ clients and encourages planning and room bookings,
  • Expert advice from the wedding and catering team, interactive and viral ability to create a dream wedding and share it with friends, photos highlighting The Breakers’ personalized touches and the property’s compelling beauty.
