PAR Springer-Miller Launches New Version 3.0 of the SMS|World XA™ Online Booking Engine

PAR Springer-Miller Systems, Inc. (PSMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PAR) and a leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems, released the latest version upgrade of the company’s SMS|World XA Online Booking Engine.

Successful hospitality organizations center everything they do on providing first-class, personalized service to every guest. PAR Springer-Miller’s latest version of SMS|World XA creates a truly guest-centric online booking experience by focusing on the end user, the guest.

Seamlessly integrated into the SMS|Host® Hospitality Management System, hotels and resorts benefit from all of the advantages of a fully integrated online booking engine – reservations flow in real time from the Web to the SMS|Host system without incurring transaction-based fees, while rates and availability are automatically updated as changes are made in the SMS|Host system. SMS|Host’s robust packaging capability translates seamlessly to the Website, maximizing the return of the direct online channel.

PAR Springer-Miller engaged RTP Interactive to design the SMS|World XA booking engine specifically for the guest. With this focus on usability, SMS|World XA lowers bounce rates and drives more reservations to completion. The intuitive page flow decreases itinerary abandonment and converts Website visitors to guests. PAR Springer-Miller partnered with RTP Interactive because of its extensive expertise in how guests interact with booking destination hotels. The result is a simple, intuitive, user-friendly booking engine.

The Woodmark Hotel®, managed by MTM Luxury Lodging, represents the first installation of the newest version of SMS|World XA.
