ONETECH Solution, provider of property management and reservations solutions, can now offer 700 online sales channels to its hotel clients, following a strategic partnership with RateTiger, specialist in online benchmarking and distribution management technology.

Using RateTiger's two-way XML gateway RTConnect, ONETECH's system can provide end users with a wider number of distribution channels to help increase exposure and bookings. ONETECH's client, Vagabond Inn, is the first to successfully trial the new gateway to update rates and inventory while retrieving booking reports across all selected sales channels.

Jana Gage of Vagabond Inn, San Francisco Airport Hotel said, "With access to many more channels and allocation management services, we can now choose the best to reach the right markets. The whole process is much smoother and time efficient providing enhanced selling opportunities. We're looking forward to maximising our rates on the internet and achieving many more bookings."

Jimmy Apostolis, COO of ONETECH said, "Creating seamless integration programs to manage online sales activity has become essential - especially for the travel industry. Hoteliers are already struggling with the increased number of channels available through the internet. RTConnect now means we can provide a more time-efficient and simple service with our technology."

Ragnar Strerath, division president RTConnect, RateTiger said, "ONETECH's hotel clientele can now sell across more travel Websites and leverage their online potential. Hoteliers find our XML connections make updates and data retrieval quicker and secure. They are confident in knowing that their rates are published on their sales channels immediately. Removing the monotonous effort associated with benchmarking and updating rates will allow more time for assessing rates and managing an effective revenue strategy."

The integration between hotel technology providers is a must in today's competitive environment. With more technology options available, hoteliers will choose applications and systems that are compatible and integrated to avoid working on multiple systems independently.
