An industry-leading provider of SaaS Revenue & Yield Management solutions to the global hotel industry, Easy (Ez) Revenue Management Solutions Ltd (EasyRMS) has secured an exciting new contract in the Asia Pacific region.

The EzRMS™ Product Suite has now been deployed at China National Convention Center (CNCC) Grand Hotel, part of the CNCC complex in the world-reknowned metropolis of Beijing.

This is one of the first independent hotel client in EasyRMS’ China portfolio and it is hoped that similar properties will soon follow given the unabated industry growth in this region.

Beijing has witnessed fast development in the meeting and exhibition industry over the last few years and CNCC, one of China's biggest and newest global conference venues, provides the much needed support for  large-scale events held in the country.

In March 2011 the hotel went live with the EzRMS™ Internet Product Suite. Christine Liu, EasyRMS country manager for China, says there are numerous tangible benefits that the property will gain from these solutions, and that the software’s comprehensive analysis and reports will help the hotel drive their business more efficiently.

“The annual forecast and optimisation recommendations within the Core Module will push the property towards optimal revenues in every room category and market segment,” said Liu, “and the hotel is very happy with the evaluation support function within Ez-QUOTE™, as they are managing the biggest convention centre in China and have many business groups booking on a frequent basis.”

Shelley Tang, deputy general manager of the property, notes that EasyRMS was chosen as a solutions partner due to their good reputation and their authoritative voice in the field of Revenue Management. “We hope to learn from the Revenue Management gurus and ultimately achieve maximisation of our revenue goals,” she said.

Tang added that the venue will follow, and implement fully, EzRMS™ standards. “I believe the system will help us make better decisions as we will be able to rely more on the data analyses it offers. We are satisfied with the EzRMS™ implementation process until now and look forward to continuing this good relationship in the future.”

“We are delighted to welcome our first China independent hotel contract,” said Liu. “This is not only a milestone of EasyRMS Business Development in China, but also the acceptance of an automated RMS by a locally managed hotel.”

“The management team of CNCC Grand Hotel have great business insight and feel it is time to utilise new technology to help the hotel cut manual processes,” she said. “So far they are very happy with the unique functions of EzRMS™ and its successful implementation has certainly brought confidence to EasyRMS. I do believe this will transfer to further independent hotels in the region when they start to see that when a job cannot be done manually, automation is key if they wish to succeed in such a competitive market. In time I think more and more local hotels will realise this and look to automated Revenue Management Systems.”
