With growth a key strategic driver for PSAV® Presentation Services, a leading supplier of audiovisual and event technology to hotels, associations, producers and meeting planners worldwide has retained the services of Meg Fasy as vice president, industry relations.

The former vice president of sales and marketplace performance with Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Fasy will be instrumental in facilitating greater awareness of the company's expansive event-technology services among new and existing customers.

"PSAV is focused on investing in people and programs that can better connect us with customers," said Greg VanDyke, PSAV senior vice president, marketing. "We are quite pleased to tap the talents of Meg Fasy, who brings an outstanding reputation to PSAV and more than 20 years of meeting and event-industry sales and business development experience. With a broad background in hospitality and technology marketing and sales and a keen insight for driving revenues, Meg is the ideal person to join the ranks of the PSAV team. We welcome her aboard."

As a global leader of sales and marketplace performance for MPI, Fasy was responsible for the association's global sales efforts which included advanced partner relationships and overseeing all revenue streams for advertising and strategic partnerships, as well as supporting the fundraising efforts of the MPI Foundation. She also previously served as vice president of venue development for nTAG Interactive, a former provider of event data management (EDM) solutions for the meetings and event industry. Fasy also held executive positions with Event Strategy Group and iBAHN, Inc., a worldwide provider of secure wireless broadband services for hoteliers and meeting organizers. Additionally, she worked with Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Hyatt Corp.

Fasy said she was attracted to PSAV because of its desire to constantly drive value for customers. The company's ability to develop strong relationships, its dedicated work ethic and its ever-present can-do attitude are consistent with Fasy's own professional beliefs and working style, she said.

"I don't believe it is enough to consider yourself  just a 'technology provider' anymore -- rather, an organization needs to be a 'technology partner,'" Fasy said. "To succeed today, a company must feature a variety of products plus the ability to offer flawless execution while serving as a trusted advisor.  Many event planners are looking for experts or collaborators to help them decide what the best options are for their specific event. PSAV understands the importance of these relationships and is a leader in providing client solutions.

"There is tremendous pressure on event planners today to deliver an amazing event with remarkable content, all while driving ROI and keeping under budgets," she said. "As a trusted partner, PSAV works diligently to search out new and innovative customer solutions while remaining cost conscious and providing flexibility to maintain planner success.  It is all of these reasons why I am so thrilled to be part of the PSAV team."
