iBAHN, a global leader in IP television and broadband wireless solutions for the hospitality, convention and meeting industries, announced today the appointment of Cynthia Carpenter as vice president marketing, Americas.

She joins the company immediately, and will be based in Denver at the Americas regional headquarters office.

"I am personally excited by the opportunity to have a senior executive of Cynthia's caliber as part of the Americas leadership team," noted Roger Crellin, president, Americas.  "I strongly believe that she will be successful in delivering increased product support to our customers, and in strengthening our industry leadership position by listening to our customers and co-workers."

Carpenter joins iBAHN following a two-year stint as chief marketing officer at Single Pipe Communications, which was purchased by Integrated Broadband Services (IBBS) in Atlanta, Georgia.  Her accomplishments at SinglePiple include growing the incumbent customer base by 170%, which successfully positioned the company for acquisition by IBBS.  She is one of 2011's Women of the Year, an honor bestowed by the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Rocky Mountain organization.  Previous positions include building a successful consultancy that focused on bringing new technologies and new companies to market.  Carpenter spent nearly four years at Level 3 Communications, serving as vice president, business operations and marketing, where her segment marketing strategy helped produce CAGR of over 200%.

"iBAHN is already known as the global industry leader in IP-based hospitality solutions, with an impressive customer base," said Carpenter. "I believe that iBAHN's broadband and IPTV solutions have the ability to be game-changers for our industry, and I am excited to lead the Americas marketing team that will drive these new solutions into the market."
