InnLink Launches Facebook Hotel Booking Integration

Facebook hotel booking is now available with InnLink’s iLINK Booking Engine.

With the importance of social networking and the growth and use of Facebook, many people want more interactive solutions, including making direct hotel reservations.  InnLink is now offering hotels booking technology for our customers' Facebook pages. 


AdVantis Hospitality Alliance is implementing the Facebook Reservation Page on all their Vista and Select Inn Facebook pages.  Kelly Harvel, CHA, executive vice president, discussed the new capability, “Vista has been engaged with Facebook for a while.  Having the ability to book reservations from our Facebook increases our connection with those customers. Using the web tracking in the InnLink system, we will now be able to track hits and reservations from Facebook so we can now evaluate the ROI on our Facebook activity.”

InnLink’s Facebook integration will provide hotels with more incremental sales by increasing their social networking exposure, direct hotel bookings, and providing new eMarketing opportunities.  At the same time, customers using Facebook now have a new way to in which to quickly interact with a hotel, view rooms, check availability, reserve a room, and get an email confirmation.

Travelers are interacting more and more each year with social networking sites, especially with Facebook.  According to HotelNewsNow.com, “The conversion rate on direct referrals from traveler review sites to hotel supplier websites ranged from 4% to 6% in 2009, while conversion from Facebook to hotel websites was 8%.”
