Lodging Industry Veteran Joins BirchStreet Systems as Vice President of Sales - North America

BirchStreet Systems, Inc., a leading procure-to-pay solutions provider to enterprises around the world, today announced that Bill Hirsch has been named vice president of sales - North America. Hirsch brings over 20 years of proven sales and marketing success, specifically in supply chain and procurement for the hospitality industry.

At BirchStreet, Hirsch will be charged with carrying out the company's U.S. sales strategy and will report directly to Sushil Garg, chairman and CEO of BirchStreet Systems. He will be directly responsible for expanding the industry-wide understanding and adoption of e-procurement using a SaaS (software as a service) model.

"Bill's extraordinary business development and relationship building experience is a perfect match for BirchStreet," said Garg. "His background will be invaluable to the strategic planning and execution of key operational initiatives. We are thrilled that Bill has joined the team."

Hirsch's background includes hotel operations, strategic planning, and sales and marketing at renowned hospitality companies and suppliers including BuyEfficient, Choice Hotels International, HD Supply and Ramada Franchise Systems. Hirsch was directly responsible for business development at BuyEfficient and was a team leader in HD Supply's lodging industry development, positioning and expansion.
