TravelCLICK Inc., a leading provider of hotel business process management (BPM) solutions, announced that Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla. will use the iHotelier Central Reservation System (CRS) for Web site and global distribution system (GDS) reservations.

The property has been with a major top-tier brand since 1997.

The internationally known resort wanted to return to its independent roots and take control of its own brand. “We are excited by the opportunity to operate autonomously and without the requirements and expense of a national brand,” said Scott Watkins, director of e-commerce at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. “With iHotelier, we can implement a strategy that allows us to build an identity that reflects the unique character of the guest experience here. We also will be able to drive more business directly through our Web site as well as capture a greater share of the high-margin business and luxury travel market through the GDS with TravelCLICK.”

Performance-rich FLASH enables the iHotelier booking engine to showcase Innisbrook rooms and amenities through a single dynamic booking screen. With just one click, inventory and rates display in real time, creating a fully interactive shopping environment for guests. The booking engine also offers a variety of features and functionality, including comprehensive digital media capabilities, multilanguage support, e-mail marketing tools and dynamic packaging capabilities, all of which enhance the guest experience.

“The explosion of Internet technology and the arrival of powerful online booking tools have opened new and cost-effective channels through which hotels can develop their own brand identity and increase online bookings and profitability,” said Christopher Rockett, vice president – Americas at TravelCLICK. “With iHotelier, Innisbrook can cut out high representation fees, realize greater control and performance, and increase conversion rates.”
