TravelClick® to Participate in Panel Discussions at HSMAI’s Revenue Optimization Conference

TravelClick, a leading provider of profitable revenue generating solutions for hoteliers worldwide, today announced that TravelClick executives Tim Hart, executive vice president of business intelligence and Rao Avasarala, vice president of enterprise solutions will each participate in separate panel discussions at the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Revenue Optimization Conference (ROC) at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas, on June 20, 2011.

Hart will participate in the panel discussion titled, “How Will Hotels ROC the Future,” moderated by John Parke, CEO of Leadership Synergies.  Other panelists include Randy Smith of STR Global and David Katz of Jeffries & Co.  Panel members will discuss how the hotel industry is coping with the largest drop in revenue per available room (RevPAR) in history, the role revenue optimization will play in recovery, and the impact on hotel owners. The discussion is scheduled to go from 8:15– 9:15 a.m. CDT.

Avasarala will present during the break out session, “Getting the Most from the Data You Have,” which will be held once at 2:15– 3:15 p.m. and once at 3:15– 4:15 p.m. CDT. He will join other industry leaders to discuss how hotels using third party data providers can get the most from the product and increase the return on their investment.

Hart and Avasarala will provide forward-looking hotel data and trends from TravelClick’s MarketVision Demand Position product, the only business intelligence product that provides comprehensive forward-looking data to hoteliers around the globe.

The ROC is conducted in conjunction with HITEC, one of the world’s largest hospitality technology expos, and features industry thought leaders and topics within various revenue management sectors. ROC is organized by HSMAI’s Revenue Management Advisory Board and will allow attendees to take away strategies and practical applications to address the latest industry trends and best practices for their own companies.
