RateGain Continues its Global Expansion for its Customers and New Growth Goals with Strategic Hires in Spain, Thailand and Turkey

RateGain, a global leader in hospitality and travel solutions including channel distribution, rate intelligence, social
media technologies and online reputation management services, is expanding its presence in major markets internationally and has made some strategic appointments in Thailand, Turkey and Spain to bring it closer to its customers and partners.

In Spain, Nicolò Rolle has been appointed as the Market Manager. Before joining RateGain, Nick worked with Booking.com as account manager for Canary Islands and southern Spain. Prior to this, he was with TravelClick as director, sales for Spain and Portugal and responsible for sales and business development of the entire suite of TravelClick’s products. In his first two years with TravelClick, Nick was the account manager for the product ChannelDirect, managing the Spanish, English and Italian markets. Nicolo began his career with Green Oasis Clubs & Hotels, a hotel chain in Mallorca, Spain, as junior manager, marketing and sales where he introduced the concept of enhancing company revenue using the Internet as a new channel of distribution. Nicolò earned his Business Administration Degree from Business School London South Bank University.

In Thailand, Sujitra Anantasrisakul has been appointed as the new associate business manager. Prior to joining RateGain, Sujitra spent three years working for Diethelm Travel Thailand as a sales and marketing coordinator where she was responsible for the sales and marketing activities related to the travel agents revenue production within Thailand and across pan-Asian countries. Based in Bangkok, Sujitra is a Thai national and will be the local account management support for all existing hotel clients of RateGain. Additionally, she would also be spearheading business development and sales efforts for the company. Sujitra is a graduate from Mahidol University International College - Bangkok, Thailand in Hospitality and Travel Industry Management.

In Turkey, Mehmet Durukanoglu has been appointed as the Market Manager. Mehmet has more than six years of revenue management experience with many renowned hotel brands in Turkey. Since 2008, Mehmet was revenue and e-business manager with The Marmara Hotels & Residences, Istanbul where he was instrumental in driving revenue growth  for the hotel chain comprised of nine properties in Turkey, by building new business channels and forging strong relationships with external e-business partners. Prior to The Marmara Hotels, for more than three years, Mehmet was the e-sales manager with Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International, where he was responsible for defining, developing, executing, and managing the comprehensive e-marketing strategy of the hotel chain with 23 properties in Turkey and abroad. Mehmet received his Ph.D. from The Black Sea Technical University in Consumer Behavior in Eco-tourism and an MBA in Internet Marketing for The Hospitality Industry from Isik Üniversitesi.
