Chicago Yacht Club Purchases ReServe Interactive Software to Manage Events

The Chicago Yacht Club, a preeminent organizer and host of regattas, races and predicted log contests in the United States, has selected ReServe Interactive™ Event Management software to manage the execution of its nationally-recognized races and regattas, as well as the booking and implementation of its public and private club events.

Founded in 1875 and located along the shores of Lake Michigan, the Chicago Yacht Club hosts more than 100 regattas during the short sailing season and offers an array of year-round, off-the-water amenities at two clubhouse locations - Monroe Station and Belmont Station. Yacht club management purchased ReServe Interactive's Event Management software to help execute off-shore activities and on-site catered events that take place at the club's fine dining and casual restaurants, bars and banquet facilities.
Prior to the implementation of the software, events were managed manually, presenting planning and execution challenges. The ReServe software allows club management to streamline internal processes and eliminate inconsistencies by quickly and easily sharing important, real-time catering and event information across clubhouse locations.

It automatically generates equipment and packing lists, documents and communicates event changes; forecasts revenue; and produces hundreds of valuable financial, marketing and event-related reports. In addition, the software maintains a comprehensive customer database including buying history, member status and preferences, correspondence and e-mail messages, which can be utilized to provide superior member service or prospect future business.
