The Rainmaker Group announced today that Bonnie Spalding, vice president of Asia Pacific operations, will moderate a panel revealing how to “Integrate CRM, RM, and Marketing to Reap Maximum Long-Term Profits & Loyalty” at EyeforTravel’s Travel Distribution Summit 2011, September 19-20 at The Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.

The panel discussion, part of the conference’s Revenue Management Track, will take place September 19 from 3:30-4:30pm. Spalding specializes in revenue management strategy at Rainmaker’s Singapore office. The Rainmaker Group is the leading provider of automated revenue management software and services for multifamily revenue management and gaming hotels.

“Aligning business intelligence data with revenue management (RM) and customer relationship management (CRM) information is critical in the hospitality industry,” Spalding said.  “The excitement comes when CRM and RM intelligence about occupancy, rates, and guest preferences are leveraged not just by revenue managers, but also utilized by the marketing and sales teams. The result is effective targeted marketing that appeals to the most profitable guests and generates room sales at the right time for the right price. When hospitality organizations combine and communicate this data we see the huge possibilities of profit optimization.”

Spalding will moderate renowned RM executives and academic experts as they brief participants on this emerging strategy for increasing profits and winning guest loyalty. Topics include:

  • How to choreograph RM and marketing communications to anticipate customer needs and calculate the most profitable price level.
  • How to leverage CRM intelligence for better-informed RM decisions, more effective marketing initiatives, and enhanced sales.
  • How to achieve “boardroom buy-in” of RM and educate and influence other organizational departments.

Distinguished panel participants include: Natasa Christodoulidou, professor, California State University; Sameer Mehra, regional vice president revenue and distribution, Highgate Hotels; and Steve Pinchuk, vice president CRM, loyalty and profit optimization, Melco-Crown Entertainment Macau.
