RateGain Integration with Cultuzz Enables its Hotels to Generate Bookings from eBay

ChannelGain, RateGain’s online channel management solution, integrates with Cultbay, a solution used by thousands of hotel and travel suppliers to sell their products on eBay.

CultBay, one of Cultuzz’s most globally respected solutions for selling on eBay, is used by thousands of hotel and travel suppliers to sell their products on an "Auction" or a "Buy It Now" basis.
Using its advanced features, hoteliers can place their rooms on auctions, assign a start price and sell it to the highest bidder. This enables hoteliers to leverage local events including festivals, celebrity shows and other events, and offer their rooms on auctions, to optimize the opportunity of increasing their revenue per available room through higher yields.
Subscriber hotels of ChannelGain worldwide can now connect with Cultuzz through RateGain’s online channel management platform and start selling their rooms through eBay. Recently, eBay has emerged as one of the 15 most important online sales channels for hotel operators where hotel deals are being viewed by more than 275 million eBay users with an average of approx. 100 eBay users visiting these offerings.
Besides auctions, hoteliers can also leverage this platform to sell during low seasons and less occupancy. It’s "Buy It Now" feature helps hoteliers to off-load their inventory through flash sales. These offers are generally active for up to 30 days and allow buyers to obtain a product directly for a fixed price. Interestingly, hotel vouchers are paid in advance on eBay and are nonrefundable.
