Hotels4u.com Added to RateGain’s Channel Management Solution

Hotels4u.com and RateGain announced that the Hotels4u.com is now fully connected to RateGain’s ChannelGain – an online channel management solution.

ChannelGain is one of the first channel managers to develop two-way connectivity with Hotels4u.com, adding booking search and retrieval to the functionality available to partner hotels.
 
The new functionality is available now to all existing connected hotels.

Part of the Thomas Cook Group, Hotels4u.com offers customers a wide choice of product in beach and city destinations, fast becoming the market leader in the wholesale travel trade market. Combined since 2009, the Hotels4u.com and Medhotels brands have grown steadily to over £300m turnover in just over 10 years. Using a seamless XML feed, Hotels4u distribute hotels internally to the European Thomas Cook websites, 1200 Thomas Cook shops in the UK, and directly to customers through the Hotels4u.com.  In addition, hotels are distributed to over 200 major online and retail travel trade partners and 6000 travel agents through the Medhotels brand. Medhotels continues to develop its retail partnership network in the UK and throughout Europe, allowing our hotel partners to greatly diversify their customer base.

According to Roy Stratford, Head of Cities for Hotels4u.com, “RateGain’s ChannelGain solution provides hotels with an easy to use interface to manage rates and allotments distributed through our market leading sales channels.  Once a hotel subscribes to Hotels4u.com for room night distribution, bookings can be delivered seamlessly from Hotels4u.com through the ChannelGain interface.” Hotels using RateGain’s ChannelGain solution can update rates across a range of rates and numerous channels in one step, and the updated rates will be immediately available to customers shopping hotels on Hotels4u.com.
