Enseo and Intelity Announce ICEbox™, An In-room Entertainment and Customized Guest Services Experience

Enseo, Inc., a preferred platform for in-room entertainment and digital signage in hospitality, retail, healthcare, and stadiums and arenas, and Intelity, a leading hotel guest services management company and creators of the ICE (Interactive Customer Experience™) enterprise platform, announced the introduction of ICEbox™, which automatically enables Intelity’s ICE directly on Enseo set-back/set-top boxes (SBB/STB)*, creating an interactive in-room entertainment and customized guest services experience.

ICEbox combines the benefits of Enseo’s in-room entertainment platform and Intelity’s guest services, providing hotels with more in-room entertainment choices, retrofit options, reduced expenses and an overall better guest experience.

With Enseo, hotels have a reliable and proven set-back box, as well as hotel branding through a customized Welcome Page, Interactive Program Guide (IPG) and Channel Banner, extending hotel branding and marketing messages directly to the guest room and creating a user-friendly, interactive in-room entertainment experience for guests.

Intelity’s ICE enterprise platform provides fully interactive hotel services that allow guests to order and make requests for room service, housekeeping needs, wake-up calls, local information and live airline/transportation data all through the TV, simplifying and elevating the guest experience while streamlining efficiencies for the hotel.

ICEbox expands hotel choices for in-room entertainment and guest self-service solutions. Any hotel that has an HD3000 or newer Enseo set-back box, regardless of the VOD provider or integrator, now has the ability to retrofit rooms with ICE, giving guests access to numerous services through the TV. In addition, new installs with the Enseo platform also have direct access to ICE.

The Enseo platform is known for compatibility. Whether content is delivered over coax or IP infrastructure or comes from a cable or satellite provider, the Enseo platform provides a solution in a single SBB/STB. Enseo is compatible with a variety of integrators, VOD providers, displays and in-room control providers, and now, Enseo simplifies the process for hotels to enjoy the benefits of ICE with Intelity compatibility.

ICEbox will be available summer 2012. Both Enseo and Intelity will be exhibiting at HITEC, the world’s largest hospitality show, in Baltimore, MD, June 25 – 28 in booths 1607 and 2019, respectively.
