With travelers relying on personal mobile devices as a trusted companion throughout their journey — from home to hotel and back again — SuiteLinq's new Q | Mobile™ component is making it easy for guests to experience a property and patronize its amenities.

Hotel and resort operators deploying Q | Mobile can realize an increase in revenues from on premise spending and true flexibility in real-time content updating. SuiteLinq will demonstrate the relevant, real-time marketing value of Q | Mobile  at the Hospitality Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC) June 26 to 28 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Booth 1835.

SuiteLinq Inc. is a leading single-source provider of in-room, on-site and mobile content, connectivity and commerce to hotels. The company will showcase its enterprise-wide digital amenities at HITEC that engage travelers in the brand's experience via IPTV, IPVOD, Mobile, Desktop, Laptop, Tablet and Microsoft Surface™ technologies. Q | Mobile is one of six modular components of the SuiteLinq integrated platform. Additional components include Q | Vision™, Q | Linq™, Q | Touch™, Q | Console™ and Q | Gaming™.

"Q | Mobile is the latest component of our mutidevice product set, giving SuiteLinq the richest portfolio of supported devices on the market," said Craig Ziegler, SuiteLinq President. "It is designed to generate more on-premise revenue by connecting guests with promotions and commerce on their  personal mobile devices, including iPhone, Android, and Win Phone 7. "

Q | Mobile provides customizable multimedia content and features including:

  • Real-time staff-to-guest messaging
  • Room descriptions
  • Main property information
  • Restaurant / spa descriptions / service menus and ordering (with POS integration)
  • Location / directions / map point linkage
  • Entertainment venues
  • Conference information (with integration of existing data feed)
  • Reservation booking integration (with current online system)
  • Click-to-call phone number for reservations
  • Map / wayfinding
  • Guest surveys / feedback collection

Moving Content to the Cloud

"Today, mobile and tablet devices have become intimate traveling companions for guests," Ziegler said. "That reliance poses a new set of problems for hotels, namely how to manage, share and update relevant digital content across all digital touch-points. At SuiteLinq, we view this challenge as an opportunity to drive onsite spending, create brand differentiation, and deliver a one-of-a-kind guest experience. By integrating Q | Mobile with our Q | Console content-management system, we are able to streamline content, services and performance analytics across all devices. Then we move the data off premise into Microsoft's scalable, cloud-based Azure solution which serves as an integration hub, capable of communicating with other Microsoft platforms."

SuiteLinq's integration with Microsoft Azure enables hoteliers to remove hardware from on premise to the cloud for better accessibility and cost savings.

"SuiteLinq is utilizing Azure to offer a scalable cloud deliverable platform for their mobile application," said Ziegler. "Azure enables SuiteLinq to share content between the hotel and guests' personal digital devices to keep them informed about guest services, on-site amenities, special packages and promotions, on- and off-site entertainment, local attractions, events, group activities, and more.  As the mobile market expands exponentially, Azure is the ideal platform to support these growing demands for anytime, anywhere content and service delivery."
