MSI (Multi-Systems, Inc.),  a leading hospitality technology solutions provider, announced the selection of Windsurfer CRS, one of the industry’s leading central reservation system (CRS) for non-branded hotels, for integration to CloudPM, the company’s next generation, cloud-based, property management system solution.

CloudPM made its official debut at the HITEC Conference held in Baltimore, June 25 to 28, 2012.

“We reviewed all available technology on the market with several goals in mind, including ease of use for both guests and hotels, functionality to adapt to various modes of access including mobile devices and tablets, and affordability,” said Rick Munson, CEO of MSI.  “We chose Windsurfer because it was developed from a similar point of reference as CloudPM.  For both products, simplicity and accessibility translate into top-line revenue and profitability for hotels.

“Today’s cloud computing adds tremendous value to hotels,” Munson said.  “Cloud PM is a practical system convergence because it provides a reliable web-based property management system and reservation system with seamless integration and an affordable monthly subscription.”

Windsurfer was developed by Whiteboard Labs to bridge the growing gap between what hoteliers need to drive booking revenue and what customers have come to expect from technology.  Windsurfer gives hotels greater web interface capabilities, including mobile apps and branding features currently unavailable on legacy systems.  In addition, the software can be customized for hotel portfolios of any size.

“Conversion is the key to driving top line revenues and Windsurfer CRS is the intersection where marketing and hotel operations meet,” said Bill Linehan, Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer from Sceptre.  “Windsurfer CRS is not only easy for hotels to use, but it encourage conversion by providing guests superior content presented in an engaging way.”
