Blue Mountain Networks and Connect Call Global got the jump on HITEC this year with a commitment from Meyer Jabara to install the first of its kind, M-Suites™ Communications as Service (CaaS) hospitality centric software, in the Meyer Jabara Harbor Magic Property, the Pier 5 Hotel.

This revolutionary technology developed by Blue Mountain Networks replaces traditional PBX’s with a Cloud based VoIP solution providing hotels with the tool to combat fluctuating occupancy rates using an Occupancy Based TM service plan, without compromising the specific hospitality features Hotels require.

“Blue Mountain Networks forward thinking and innovative technology changes the way Hotels purchase communication services for their properties. And it’s Carrier Grade; isn’t that what hotels really want?” said Terri Stanganelli, telecommunications director for Meyer Jabara.

Connect Call Global is providing Pier 5 Hotel with a converged MPLS circuit, allowing interexchange dialing between properties and the reservation center dramatically reducing the usage fees Meyer Jabara has been accustomed to
paying for transferred calls from the Hotel to the Rev Center . Being able to reduce circuit costs, replace their end of life PBX, and greatly reduce the cost associated with off property transfers to the Rev Center, all helps minimize the high usage overhead Hotel s have faced, what they’ve been dreaming of has become a reality. Providing one point of contact for service and billing has brought order to the chaos. Terri Stanganelli is thrilled to be moving out of the closet, and onto the cloud.
