Passkey announced that the company's two leading web applications, GroupMAX™ and GroupMAX ME, have been awarded the 2012 Web Marketing Association's ("WMA") Standard of Excellence Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development in the Hotel and Lodging sector.

The WMA's WebAward is the premier annual website award competition that sets the standard of excellence for website development.  Each entry is judged by a panel of independent experts across several areas.  Passkey's GroupMAX and GroupMAX ME outscored the Hotel and Lodging sector averages as well as the broader WebAward averages in the four key categories: Design, Innovation, Content and Technology.

WMA judges were impressed with GroupMAX and GroupMAX ME, commenting:  "Amazing" and "A very clear, fully functional and well-presented site."

Passkey's GroupMAX technology is the world's leading hotel  reservation system for meetings and events.   It is deployed across most major cities in the US and the UK, as well as hundreds of hotels, corporations and meeting planners across the globe.

GroupMAX lets event attendees book accommodations for their events online, while allowing meeting organizers to optimize their investment in hotel rooms.  Hotels and destinations that deploy GroupMAX are able to attract more groups to their venues while generating greater revenues, profits and economic value for their constituents.

"GroupMAX allows our clients to deliver more successful and more profitable events with increased revenues, greater security and elevated service levels," said Greg Pesik, president & CEO of Passkey. "The 2012 WebAwards validate our commitment to helping hotels, destinations, corporations and meeting planners host flawless meetings and event."
