LodgeNet Gaming Market Initiative Driving Room Base Growth

LodgeNet Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ: LNET), a leading provider of interactive media and connectivity services to hospitality and healthcare businesses and the consumers they serve, said that the company is making significant inroads into the gaming market thanks to the capabilities of its Envision interactive TV (iTV) platform and a comprehensive mobile app being offered by the company’s mobile division.

LodgeNet’s strategic initiative to extend Envision into the gaming market has yielded new-installation and upgrade contracts representing over 15,000 rooms. These include six gaming properties that are currently being installed: the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino (1,623 rooms) in Reno, Nev.; the Colorado Belle Resort (1,164 rooms) and Edgewater Casino Resort (1,053 rooms), both in Laughlin, Nev.; Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y. (605 rooms); the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel Lake Charles in Westlake, La. (493 rooms); and the Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel in Salamanca, N.Y. (413 rooms).
