The DSA Recognizes and Awards JANUS Displays for its Interactive Content in the 2012 DSA Crown Awards

Morrow Technologies, a leader in innovative digital signage experiences and the creator of the JANUS Displays product line, announced their award in the category of Point of Wait with a content budget of $10,000 or more.

The interactive touchscreen outperformed other entries and was featured at CETW in New York City on November 7th.

"The spectacular thing about this year’s awards was the number of entries featuring interactive engagement,” said Keith Kelsen, judge and co-host. “Interactive content is a significant trend for the industry.”

The content submitted was created for the famous historic hotel, The Loews Don Cesar in St. Pete Beach, FL. The interactive display featured wayfinding, events, amenities, flight information, and is located near the hotel’s main entrance. Overall, judges were very excited about this project and its interactive capabilities. One judge mentioned, “This is really well done interactivity. What strikes me from a content standpoint is that it looks consistent. Every little part of this (where you touch a button and a map shows up) looks like it belongs, like it was made for it.” Another stated, “Nice! Looks simple and clean, but fun to explore. Perfect for a lobby installation.”
