Those who register by May 15 for the 2007 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®) will save up to $100 USD on full conference registration.

HITEC 2007, one of the world's largest hospitality technology expositions and conferences, will be June 25-28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), HITEC offers a unique combination of top-notch hospitality technology education led by industry peers and experts, and an unparalleled trade show showcasing the latest products and services from approximately 300 companies.

"Due to its technology focus, age and the industry experts involved in planning, HITEC has gained a reputation as the once a year hospitality technology event (not to be missed)," said Brenda Burke, HITEC advisory council chair and director of technology for Hilton Hotels Corp. "Companies who have a product or service to offer this industry make sure to have room on the exhibit hall floor, because their target customer will be there those three days in June."

HITEC 2007 offers an exceptional education conference with presentations by experts representing all segments of the industry. The opening general session will be presented by Jonathan Tisch, chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels. Tisch will focus on topics from his two books, "The Power of We: Succeeding Through Partnerships" and his recently-released, "Chocolates on the Pillow Aren't Enough: Rethinking the Customer Experience." All attendees of the opening general session will receive a complimentary copy of “Chocolates on the Pillow Aren’t Enough.”

New this year to the exhibit hall is the Club Technology Pavilion and HITEC FAVE Awards. The Club Technology Pavilion is a special area with hands-on displays of the latest in emerging club-specific technology from companies like Jonas, ClubSoft and more. The HITEC FAVE Awards is a program that will identify HITEC attendees' favorite booth designs and technology solutions.

In addition, GUESTROOM 2010 will return with a new version at the HITEC exhibit hall after debuting to maximum capacity crowds at HITEC 2006. GUESTROOM 2010 is a model guestroom featuring some of the latest and near-future technologies for the modern hotel room. The 2006 model included extreme innovations like a bed without a mattress, and the more practical self-cleaning shower.

www.HITEC.org provides complete information about all conference and exhibition events, schedule and descriptions of all the education sessions, list of exhibitors, a map of the exhibit hall and the most current HITEC news, making it convenient for you to plan out your time at HITEC. Registrations made through the web site will get an immediate acknowledgement via e-mail.

Online room reservations for the official HITEC hotels can conveniently be made through the Web site. To take advantage of the special rates, and to have access to the HITEC shuttles, you must make your hotel reservations through the HITEC housing bureau before May 31. These rates will apply three days before and after HITEC, subject to availability.
