World's Largest Super 8 Motel to Use AMTC's TelAdvantage Technology On-hold messaging system set to improve Super 8 Motel's marketing presence in Las Vegas

Super 8 Motels, the world's largest economy lodging chain with more than 2,000 North American locations, has installed Applied Media Technologies Corporation's (AMTC) TelAdvantage telephone on-hold messaging system in its largest property.

Super 8's Las Vegas Strip location, next door to Ellis Island Casino and Brewery and just one block from the famous Las Vegas strip, is the world's largest Super 8 location with more than 300 rooms. The addition of AMTC's messaging technology is just another way Super 8 is building upon its 2007 campaign, “Moving Forward... Focused to Win,” aimed at upgrading the chain's standards and services.

The TelAdvantage package and its centerpiece, the iQueue II Digital Music and Messaging On-Hold Player, allows Super 8's Las Vegas location to market to guests and potential guests via telephone, while they are on hold. The property's management can select from a wide array of Super 8-brand messages, along with custom messages created for the particular hotel, all via HoldDirect.com, the world’s first online distribution system for on-hold messaging and music.

“Tom Coppola [AMTC's lodging sales manager] has been very prompt and good to us,” Super 8 Las Vegas General Manager Troyce McKinley said. “The TelAdvantage system is perfect for our business because we often have customers on hold. What better way to market to those customers than when there would normally be dead air?”
