SquirrelOne Release 5 Debuts at Monk McQueen’s

Squirrel Systems, a leading provider of hospitality management systems has installed its latest version, SquirrelOne Release 5 into one of the most prestigious waterfront restaurant venues in Vancouver, B.C. 

Monk McQueens, an award winning Vancouver landmark with stunning harbour and mountain views is piloting the latest release of  SquirrelOne. “We are very pleased with the progress of Release 5”, said Director of Marketing, Linda Gillis.  “This is just the latest in a series of product initiatives moving to market.”

One of the key themes of Release 5 is the Enhanced Table Management features integrated with Squirrel’s Reservation and Loyalty modules. The trio of rich integrated modules provides customers like Monk’s with additional tools to enhance the guest experience.

“We are thrilled with the constant stream of new features and tools Squirrel is bringing to us”, said Mr. Robin Apel,  General Manager for Monk McQueens. “With the integrated Table Management and Reservations we are able to go to any terminal in the restaurant or backoffice to use the tools.  It is not just something that is at the front desk. Release 5 continues to leverage our original investment.”

Monk’s is also utilizing Squirrel’s ultramobile PC handheld from TabletKiosk to allow its staff to access the modules as well as being able to take orders and accept credit cards at the table.
