Building on the success of the PhoneSuite 64 and the PhoneSuite 112 models, which provide feature-rich PBX lodging solutions for independent hotels and limited-service hotels with up to 62 and 220 rooms respectively, PhoneSuite has expanded that platform and developed the PhoneSuite 495, which provides the same economical PBX solution for hotels with up to 475 rooms.

“Since 2002, PhoneSuite has been considered a preferred phone system provider of small and independent hotels and motels,” said Frank Melville, president of PhoneSuite.  “That niche has worked very well for us and continues to be a strong part of our business, but recently, our resellers came to us and asked us to develop a price-conscious phone system for larger hotels and hotels that require expanded features and software.  Because our engineers are located in our Colorado headquarters, we were able to respond to this need quickly and efficiently.”

With a release date scheduled for July 1 and a ship date of August 1 of this year, the PhoneSuite 495 has received rave reviews in its beta format.  Ric Goldtrap, president of Circuit Systems Inc. and a reseller of PhoneSuite systems, has placed the PhoneSuite 495 in several south Florida properties including the much anticipated Anglers Resort, a renovated historical hotel in Miami Beach that recently celebrated its grand opening.

“The Anglers Resort is not a large hotel–only 49 rooms–however, it is an upscale boutique resort that requires feature-rich software to meet the resort’s demands, including an off-site executive office,” said Goldtrap.  “Although the PhoneSuite 495 was only in beta format when we installed it, it has exceeded the resort’s needs and best of all, it came in under budget.  Everyone has been very happy with the results.”

Goldtrap also installed the PhoneSuite 495 at the Red Carpet Inn, a 300+ room hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  The owners had used PhoneSuite products for the Howard Johnson Hotel in Lake George, N.Y. and insisted that PhoneSuite be their phone system provider for the Red Carpet Inn.

“Due to the property’s large size and need for enhanced features, the PhoneSuite 495 was a perfect fit,” said Goldtrap.

“In today’s world, most everyone can communicate via personal cell phones and computers. A hotel’s phone system is no longer a profit center or even a break-even part of its operation.  This makes it more important than ever to find a phone system that will provide all the features you want but at the price you need.  Time and again, PhoneSuite continues to meet these requirements,” said Goldtrap.

PhoneSuite currently has over 1,500 systems operating throughout the United States and Canada in lodging establishments ranging from bed and breakfasts to major franchises and resorts.  Growing quickly from a regional to a national company, PhoneSuite can be found in most of the major hotel chains in the economy, limited-service, and extended-stay sectors.
