Corserva Adds Matthew Mrowczynski as VP of Hospitality Sales
Matthew Mrowczynski | 8/8/2017

This announcement follows on the heels of several hospitality initiatives Corserva has taken this year. In April, Corserva launched ‘Corserva Sphere,’ the first integrated managed services model for the hospitality industry. The company also brought on hospitality technology veteran Karen Faircloth as Director of Hospitality IT. Earlier in the year, Corserva completed construction on its Hospitality Technology Concept Center, housed within the company’s facility in Orlando, Florida.
“Since we launched Corserva Sphere, we are seeing tremendous interest from the hospitality market,” said Camilo Soto, CEO, Corserva. “Bringing Matt on board will ensure that we maximize our market penetration in delivering this new approach to hospitality clients.”
Matt joins Corserva from SALTO Systems where he was VP Global Hospitality for this manufacturer of electronic access control systems. During his 7 years at SALTO, Matt grew hospitality sales revenue by a factor of 12X. His previous hospitality leadership roles include: 5 years at The Energy Authority as President & CEO, 4 years as VP of Marketing at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, 7 years as Executive Vice President at Timelox Access Control Systems, and 6 years as VP of Sales & Marketing at 2B The Systems Company.
“I am excited to join Corserva at this critical juncture in the development of the company’s hospitality platform,” said Matthew Mrowczynski, VP of Hospitality Sales, Corserva. “Corserva Sphere is an innovative new approach to technology management that eliminates the complexity of dealing with multiple vendors and provides property owners with the latest technology at a fixed monthly cost.”
Corserva Sphere covers the complete lifecycle of delivering technology to the hospitality industry from design to implementation, including ongoing support. Corserva monitors its clients’ systems 24x7x365 from Corserva’s network operations centers to proactively identify and remediate issues.
Under the Corserva Sphere operating model, each of the technologies required to enable the optimal guest experience is integrated into a single solution that is financed, implemented, and supported in a single package. Technologies include access controls, in-room entertainment, energy management, in-room controls, digital signs, wireless access points, and point-of-sale. Services are delivered using applications and hardware provided by a set of best of breed technology partners, as well as any partners specifically requested by a client.
