Michael Schubach returns to Infor as new Chief of Staff & Industry Strategy

Infor has appointed Michael Schubach as its new Chief of Staff & Industry Strategy for the Hospitality business unit. In this newly created role, Michael will be responsible for ensuring the business unit and product strategy are aligned to address the needs of today’s changing market.
Michael returns to Infor after having spent the past 2 years as Chief Technology Officer for Rosen Hotels & Resorts and the Millennium Technology Group, in Orlando, Florida. Prior to Rosen, Michael was with Infor as Senior Program Manager for the Hospitality team where he served as the client liaison for Infor’s marquee accounts.
Michael has served the hospitality industry for more than four decades, both as a technology developer and consumer; he was the vice president of Resort Technology for Pinehurst Resort, serving for both the 1999 and 2005 US Open golf championships. He also served as Chief Information Officer for the Trump Hotel Collection. He earned international recognition having taught and spoken at industry events in Asia, Europe and North America, and has published more than 60 articles in various hospitality industry publications. In recognition of his industry contributions, Michael was inducted into the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) International Hospitality Hall of Fame in 2015, an honor accorded to fewer than 50 individuals since the Hall of Fame’s inception in 1989.
Based in Orlando, FL, Michael is a Certified Hospitality Technical Professional (CHTP Emeritus) and a Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive (CHAE Emeritus). He holds his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his Master of Business Administration in Resort Management from Methodist University in North Carolina.
