Cardinal International Wins Best New Product at HX 2015

Five exhibitors received Editors’ Choice Awards during the opening day of the 100th annual IHMRS, now HX: The Hotel Experience on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2015, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

The Awards recognize best new products within the categories of food & beverage, kitchen design, guest services, rooms division and technology.  From the five winners, the Kenneth F. Hine “Best of Show” Award also was selected.

The 2015 Editors’ Choice Award winners were:

Kenneth F. Hine “BEST OF SHOW” – Cardinal International: Reveal' Up Soft Fresh Tumbler

The Aquaboy Solar is a patented solar powered atmospheric water generator which makes pure water from air and runs off of a retractable 1,000 watt solar system that comes assembled and on wheels for easy installation and removal if necessary for a roof repair or storm preparedness.

Rooms Division: HOTEL SIGNS (Chattanooga, Tenn.) Get in tune with Mother Nature by bringing the beauty of Botanica to your building. This stylish sign line adds a naturally chic ambiance to any atmosphere. Botanica features a digitally printed subsurface woodgrain for a natural, earthy look.

Technology: Verdant Technologies (Mont-Royal, Canada) Verdant EMS Thermostats are equipped with built-in occupancy sensors and will eliminate wasteful levels of heating and air-conditioning by setting back temperature in unoccupied rooms.

Editors from leading hospitality trade publications reviewed over 80 submissions of the latest products for the industry, and selected winners based on innovative product design, how a product answers a particular industry need, creative use of material or construction, and development or use of a new technology.
