Deanna Smith Named SVP of Business Development at Genares™

Showing its fast growth as a leading reservations technology provider with hundreds of hotel clients worldwide, Genares™ has created the new position of senior vice president of business development, and has named Deanna Smith to take on the role.

“We needed a highly skilled pro for the newly created position of senior vice president of business development  to not only manage our steady growth but also identify and pursue opportunities in the hospitality marketplace,” said Ursula Rhode, COO. “Deanna brings the ideal credentials, combining experience, insight and professional accomplishment, and we expect her to be a tremendous asset to the Genares team.”
 
Ms. Smith comes to Genares with 11 years of marketing and hospitality experience, and specific expertise in central reservation system (CRS) and global distribution system (GDS) technology, Internet marketing, social media and business strategies.  

Previously, she was the senior sales manager for InnLink Reservations, where she was the top revenue generator during her six years with the company and played a central role in developing business collateral, processes, marketing and training programs. 
 
Genares offers targeted technology and a robust service package that allows hotels to better control their distribution options, enhance room reservation capabilities, increase revenue, manage inventory more efficiently and participate in viable consortiums targeting business and leisure customers.  Generas has recently added a proprietary database so clients can easily and confidently research sales opportunities and confirm contacts.
