DerbySoft Announces "One" to Target European Hoteliers

DerbySoft, a hotel business technology provider, announced "One," an easy-to-use online distribution management platform as part of European expansion efforts.

The “One” platform is the first to offer single sign on (SSO) access to a variety of connected modules including: a content management system, website builder and Internet booking engine, a fully-integrated channel manager, and a metasearch manager solution. It has been created to simplify operations and reduce the distribution costs for independent and small to mid-size hotel groups. Ahead of the general launch later this year, DerbySoft is offering early access to “One” for a limited number of  businesses as part of the company’s Learning Launch.
For these smaller businesses, online distribution is especially challenging due to comparatively few financial and technical resources. As an innovative, simple and affordable tool, “One by DerbySoft” is built to tackle this and help users manage their online distribution in a quick and easy manner, across multiple reservation websites and channels. Time-saving is a crucial element of “One” and it is the one of the only solutions that offers a content management system that automatically populates all of the hotel’s static information within the connected modules of “One."
“Not only will One help to drive more bookings, thanks to the soon to be released metasearch tool, but we will also give back time for the user to focus on their guests rather than sitting in front of a computer struggling to navigate the distribution world. After all, the One user may only be a team of one and so this is a tool for them – easy-to-use, yet incredibly powerful," said André Baljeu, vice president at DerbySoft.
To give hotel managers, online marketing managers and owners a better understanding of what “One” can do, interested parties can join the company’s Learning Launch, open now to a limited number of hotels for a short period. By registering at users can test each of the available modules and discover the simplicity of the platform and how it integrates with overall hotel management.
With offices in Dallas and Shanghai, DerbySoft is also announcing an expansion to Europe with a permanent European residence opening in Germany next year. Over the past 15 years DerbySoft has been offering individual solutions to global hotel groups such as Marriott, Hilton, and InterContinental Hotel Group and this continues to be the case across Europe. At the latest count, DerbySoft enables over five million room nights every month across 80,000 hotels worldwide.
With the establishment of a European office in Germany, DerbySoft is aiming to build on its success and focus on key markets such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, U.K. and Spain. According to an extensive study by Phocuswright and h2c, the projected gross online bookings for the independent lodging market in Europe are expected to reach €1.5 billion by 2017 as both supplier direct and online travel agency (OTA) bookings swell. The same report found that Independents control an estimated 67 percent of room supply, and of these, 72 percent consider direct web to be their most effective distribution channel.
“We have acquired a strong market position with large international hotel chains who are convinced of our solutions," said Andre Baljeu. "Now we want to expand that position to important European locations, addressing independent hotels and small hotel groups in particular to support them with their online distribution demands."
“One by DerbySoft” will be widely released to all by the end of 2016.
