Elite Hotels of Sweden, one of the country’s largest privately-owned hotel businesses, has announced it will deploy SHR’s three revenue-generating products: Windsurfer CRS for optimal distribution; Maverick CRM for guest management; and Wave RMS for revenue management.

Known for its beautifully restored historical properties and dedication to environmental sustainability, Elite Hotels has renewed its focus on improving the guests’ digital experience. While many of its competitors curtail investment, Elite Hotels will implement SHR to optimize each step of the guest journey, from marketing, booking, and on-property experience to post-checkout communication.

“We were looking for innovative tools to help us take the next step in our digital transformation,” says David Halldén, CEO at Elite Hotels. “Partnering with SHR provides a complete suite of products to modernize many of our revenue-generating functions, including personalized marketing, dynamic pricing and optimized distribution.”

“We were looking to move to a more modern CRS and were impressed with SHR’s recent additions to its suite of products, which together will provide us with a total solution,” says Ronny Röe, chief information officer at Elite Hotels. “We chose SHR because they understood our unique challenges and opportunities and we feel they will be a true partner in every sense of the word, growing alongside us as we look to remain on the cutting-edge of technology and innovation.”

Implementing the three systems will ensure Elite Hotels has a well-integrated technology stack that it can use to create workflows using shared data from each of the systems. Windsurfer will connect Elite to all of its distribution channels in real time, and Wave will help Elite forecast future business and set dynamic rate strategies so no revenue is left on the table. With an acute focus on growing and optimizing its loyalty program, Elite will rely heavily on Maverick to put guest profiles and preferences into action, building better guest connections and communicating with guests more effectively.

Already with 39 distinct hotels in Sweden’s most popular destinations, Elite Hotels has positioned itself as the leading accommodations provider in the country. Growth will continue at an accelerated pace as Elite plans to open four more hotels in the near future.

“We are excited to have Elite Hotels as a partner in this new era of travel,” says Patrik Norman, SHR’s director of business development in Scandinavia. “With the ability to make data-driven decisions all along the guest journey, the Elite team will be positioned to operate more efficiently and drive more revenue to the bottom line.”

“After launching Revenue Management and Customer Relationship Management tools just prior to the pandemic, SHR has spent the past year working closely with our best hotel partners to refine the solutions with features and functionality that address today’s unique landscape,” says Rod Jimenez, CEO, SHR. “We are grateful for the partnership with Elite Hotels and look forward to helping them use data and cutting-edge technology to better connect with their guests and implement profitable revenue and distribution strategies.”
