The three general session speakers  Marilyn Sherman, Chris Davidson and Ty Bennett will discuss topics relating to communication in the workplace, travel trends and leadership. The HFTP Annual Convention will take place from October 23-25 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

 

HFTP Annual Convention full registration attendees will have access to three days of education, two days of table top exhibits, a Welcome Reception and a formal HFTP Tribute to Success dinner and dance. The 2019 schedule of events is available on the HFTP website.

"The program offers presentations that help attendees become better professionals, provides subject-matter expertise and gives updates on changing regulations and practices. It is the event that helps keep attendees current in their professional pursuits."

 

Capping off the first day, Wednesday, October 23, is motivational speaker and author Marilyn Sherman presenting, "Communicating for Results: From Conflict to Cooperation." Following-up on Thursday, October 25, is executive vice president for MMGY Global Chris Davidson presenting "How Travelers Think. And, Why You Should Care." Davidson will present results from MMGY Global's Portrait of American Travelers, the industry's most respected and insightful survey of emerging vacation habits, preferences and intentions of American consumers. On the final day of the convention, professional speaker and author Ty Bennett will present, "Partnership is the New Leadership."

 

In addition, the dynamic event program will provide relevant industry information for hospitality professionals, covering topics such as: benchmarking, club finance strategies, cybersecurity, employee engagement, business intelligence, employee management and more. Vendor interaction this year will allow attendees to meet with participating companies at table top exhibits. Exhibits will be open to attendees on Wednesday evening during the Welcome Reception and during lunch on the following Thursday.
