HFTP Contributes Education to the 2013 AAHOA North Texas Regional Conference

In continuance of its strategic partnership with the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has co-produced a session for the AAHOA North Georgia & Southeast Regional Conference, as well as the upcoming North Texas Regional Conference.

The co-produced session is “Flash Hotel Sales: Beneficial or Detrimental?” presented by the HFTP Social Media Advisory Council Chair, Katerina Berezina, CHTP, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Florida. This session discusses the value and impact of flash sales based on research collected from hotel professionals. The session was presented at the recent AAHOA North Georgia & Southeast Regional Conference on August 27 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta. It will also be presented at the AAHOA North Texas Regional on September 4 at the Hyatt Regency DFW Airport in Dallas.

Topics such as the Affordable Care Act and a special session for women in hotel leadership are also on the agenda. Along with education, there are opportunities for networking during the scheduled trade show hours and business meeting.

Attendance to the AAHOA North Texas regional is free to current and potential members. Find further details on the AAHOA web site.

HFTP’s participation in these regional events is part of its strategic plan to reach out and collaborate with hospitality-focused and ownership associations with the goal of sharing resources.
