Approximately 48 Indian gaming properties across North America are using InvoTech Systems to optimize uniform management, inventory control and laundry room operations.

Some of these tribal organizations include the Creek, Chickasaw, Seminole, Sycuan, Dakota Sioux and many others. By using InvoTech's uniform and linen management systems, the gaming properties are increasing profitability by lowering labor expenses and losses.

The Sycuan Casino is one of the properties that has increased productivity. “Thanks to the efficiency and accuracy of our RFID Uniform inventory tracking system from InvoTech, we maintain a just-in-time reorder process. We also deliver top service to our team members,” said Vanessa Barbarin, purchasing manager at Sycuan Casino. “The system lifts the property’s asset control to a new level. The benefits in efficiency, productivity and accuracy make Sycuan Casino more profitable.”

“InvoTech has extensive experience increasing profitability for Indian gaming organizations," said Oswald Lares, InvoTech’s director of sales. "We understand their operations and how to help them keep more of their revenue in-house. InvoTech’s uniform and linen inventory management systems integrate the latest RFID technology to reduce labor costs and create more efficient operations for Indian gaming operators.”

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians has combined multiple property inventories with InvoTech. “InvoTech is very beneficial to our operation," said Jennifer Lasiewicz, Four Winds Casinos’ vice president of hotel operations. "We created an accurate combined uniform inventory count for all properties on one database. Now we purchase in larger numbers and benefit from higher volume buys. InvoTech installed the Four Winds Casinos’ systems and provided on-site training. Their people understand how we run our business and are very helpful.” Four Winds properties include Four Winds New Buffalo, Four Winds Hartford and Four Winds Dowagiac owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians.

InvoTech supports Odawa Casino team members who represent its enterprise. “Odawa Casino Resort values the uniform product that we provide to our team members,” said Melissa Richards, director of human resources for Odawa Casino Resort. “Since our wardrobe department does not generate revenue and uniforms are often lost traveling to and from the laundry, tight inventory control is essential. InvoTech is one of the tools that support our hard working team members who proudly represent our enterprise.” According to Richards, cost savings are important for many reasons, including the resort’s commitment to contribute to the growth and development of services to both the tribal community and the surrounding Northern Michigan communities.

Another gaming property, Gila River Casinos implemented InvoTech’s UHF-RFID Multi-Property Uniform System for three casinos and its corporate distribution center. InvoTech reduces labor costs and provides an increase in asset protection for the organization’s 20,000 owned and 16,000 rented uniforms. Gila River Gaming Enterprises, Inc. operates three Arizona casinos owned by the Gila River Indian Community including Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino, Lone Butte Casino and Vee Quiva Hotel & Casino.

“We fitted our staff of 3,500 with new uniforms that match the property’s décor," said Heidi L. Smith, Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort uniform manager. "We installed the InvoTech system to protect our investment. The system reduces replacement costs by tracking each article and assigning specific uniforms to staff members. It will also help us operate more efficiently. Many of our staff are family members with the same last name. InvoTech identifies which family member has each uniform to eliminate confusion. If one changes a job assignment or brings us a damaged garment, we can track accountability and inventory in real time.”

The InvoTech uniform system manages all aspects of uniform operations. It monitors employee use and delivers a 25 percent savings in labor costs and a five percent reduction in on-going purchases. The linen system with InvoTech’s UHF-RFID technology monitors and controls linen movement throughout a property and to/from its laundry. It provides a 100 percent reduction in non-theft related losses, cuts labor costs by 50 percent and provides control of outside laundry charges.
