Over 10,000 Users Now Certified with VENZA’s Proctored Training Program

VENZA announced that it has certified its 10,000th user through its innovative Proctored Training program.

This marks an important milestone in the effort to bring security awareness training to all employees by making the process streamlined, simple, and widely accessible.

Proctored Training is a novel training method that accredits large numbers of team members at once.

An alternative to individually guided web-based learning modules, Proctored Training offers a live format that can automatically certify all attending staff. It can also replace small group training sessions to improve productivity.

The current Proctored Training curriculum focuses on material covered in VENZA’s Basic Learning Path—an introduction to security awareness that covers data protection basics, protecting payment card information, protecting personal information, and social engineering.

With a runtime of only fifteen minutes, Proctored Training can instruct hourly employees during pre-shift meetings. This unique time structure, along with its live, large-group presentation style, allows hotels to efficiently bring key concepts of information security to staff who had previously lacked well-fitting training options.

Since its pilot in fall 2021, VENZA’s Customer Success Team has trained over 10,000 employees at hundreds of properties around the world.

VENZA hosts Proctored Training sessions weekly on Wednesdays at 10:00am and 3:00pm EST (GMT-5).

Proctored Training is currently offered in English and Spanish. Language support for Chinese, French, and Portuguese will begin starting on October 5th.
