Packard Hospitality Management Chooses VENZA to Mitigate Vulnerabilities

  • 11.10.17
Packard Hospitality Management has partnered with VENZA to implement a proactive cyber-resilient strategy to mitigate data security vulnerabilities and keep hotel guests and their data safe.

Packard Hospitality, whose portfolio includes such brands as Red Roof, Hilton, IHG and Marriott, began their partnership with VENZA by participating in a targeted phishing campaign during their annual user convention.
“As a courtesy to our customers, VENZA performs phishing campaigns for use at annual conventions to educate the audience on the severity of phishing and illustrate that a company’s human firewall is only as strong as its weakest link,” said Jeff Venza, VENZA president and CEO.
“It was an eye-opening experience,” said Packard Hospitality CEO, Michael Goldstein. “It’s critical that we equip our employees with the training necessary to look after every part of our guests’ experience, and ensuring that our guests feel comfortable with the security of their personal information is an important part of that. We partnered with VENZA because of their expertise in this area and their impressive track record within the hospitality industry.”
“With massive amounts of personal information being collected and stored, the hospitality industry is particularly vulnerable to cybercrime. Packard Hospitality has shown a commitment to go beyond minimum compliance to protect the data of its company and its guests,” said Venza.
