Agilysys, Inc. has announced that Resorts World Bimini has selected the Stratton Warren System, a comprehensive inventory and procurement solution, to automate processes and reduce costs at the 480-unit resort.

A new 305-room luxury hotel, scheduled to open in Summer 2015, will also use the system. Resorts World Bimini implemented Agilysys solutions for property management and condo accounting last year.

"When shopping for a new inventory and procurement system, we had very specific criteria," said Alex Kunath, director of information technology at Resorts World Bimini. "First and foremost, we wanted a solution that would help us reduce costs and conserve resources. We also wanted a system that would help us work more efficiently. And, we wanted technology that would enable us to make more intelligent purchasing decisions. We are confident the Stratton Warren System will meet this criteria and help ensure our property's competitiveness by allowing our purchasing staff to focus on the strategic elements of the procurement process."

Stratton Warren System is a full-featured inventory and procurement solution that maximizes purchasing power and reduces operational costs. Recognized as a leading inventory and procurement solution in the hospitality industry, the Stratton Warren System automates the entire procurement process – from requisition to invoice – and provides a fast and measurable return on investment by identifying the most suitable suppliers, reducing labor costs and waste and eliminating time-consuming and error-prone paper documents. Features of the system include budget tracking, business intelligence functionality, automated email bid capability, multiple par level functionality and flexible mobile options.

"The hospitality industry has embraced the Stratton Warren System for its ability to keep track of ever-changing inventory and streamline the procurement process," said Michael Buckham-White, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Agilysys. "The system allows purchasing staff to leverage their knowledge and experience in the areas where it counts most, resulting in tighter financial controls, increased compliance and more effective supplier negotiations. This technology will help Resorts World Bimini maximize efficiency and productivity, so the property can focus its efforts on providing exceptional service and making lasting connections with guests."
