SignUp4 and Newmarket Streamline the RFP Distribution Process via Certified Integration

SignUp4 and Newmarket International, Inc. (“Newmarket”) announced their strategic partnership with the release of a certified integration between the SignUp4 Spend Management System and the Newmarket MeetingBroker platform. The result is a “win/win” for both meeting planners and hospitality organizations with an efficient, reliable RFP distribution process to suit the demanding needs of the industry.

Serving Both Ends of the Spectrum

Spend Management System (SMS) affords organizations the ability to control costs and effectively measure return on investment of their strategic meetings through automated processes and spend management technology. Event sourcing and site selection are dramatically simplified within SMS. Event professionals can search out meeting spaces, hotels, and other suppliers from the robust database and quickly send customized RFPs directly from the system. Since SignUp4 does not sell placement in the listings, organizations get search results that best suit their unique needs.

MeetingBroker improves lead conversion and helps sales teams respond faster than their competition. Travel and hospitality industry expert PhoCusWright reports that “speed of response” is the most important criteria planners use in selecting suppliers for a meeting. MeetingBroker assigns leads to the correct sales representatives the instant RFPs are received, eliminating bottlenecks and duplicate communications. Efficiencies can be further leveraged via full integration with Delphi sales and catering solutions, where RFPs can be easily converted to bookings.

The Power of Two Platforms Coming Together

Now, with certified integration, when an RFP is created and then submitted from SMS, it is routed through MeetingBroker for instantaneous notification and assignment to the correct sales representative. RFP responses are routed back through MeetingBroker to SMS for viewing and analysis. Bidirectional updates to the RFP, such as status (ex. “Awarded,” “Turndown,” etc.), are automatically sent in real-time.
