Guest-tek™ has announced the acquisition of TelNet Corporation for full convergence.
The acquisition follows Guest-tek’s partnership with TelNet last October, when the company introduced voice to their lineup of technology offerings.
With the addition of voice to its OneView platform, Guest-tek offers full convergence to their client hotels. Hotels like the Westin Delaware have recently adopted Guest-tek’s triple play for their voice, video and high-speed Internet needs.
“We chose to partner with TelNet for their leading edge technology and expertise in providing voice to hotel properties,” says Arnon Levy, CEO of Guest-tek. “This acquisition strengthens Guest-tek’s ability to deliver top notch service and support to our voice customers.”
Guest-tek’s OneView Voice iACT Solution gives hotels a cloud-based system with more features at a much lower cost than many PBX systems on the market. It also typically uses less equipment and requires less power for even greater savings to hotels.
“Guest-tek has been instrumental in building awareness of our voice technology,” says Russell McComb, president and CEO of TelNet. “As more hotel properties are choosing Guest-tek as their voice provider, joining this company became a great opportunity.”
Some of the major hotel brands who have adopted Guest-tek’s Voice Solution since its introduction include: Marriott, Holiday Inn, Choice Hotels International, Best Western, Hampton Inn, Magnolia Hotels, Red Roof Inn and Wyndham Hotel Group.
