To enhance service and make sure guests are always happy with the amenities offered, hoteliers can count on tracking the usage of their services. Trend analysis helps the staff identify which services are the most popular in between guests and in which circumstances they are used. It’s also an efficient way to recognize possible performance issues or incorrect usage. 

The new Nonius Cast Cloud Managed solution is the ideal tool for hotels to offer the best in-room entertainment while also having access to a detailed back office for usage monitoring. Our adoption trend technology allows staff to view how many rooms used the service at least one time during their stay and which streaming services were the most enjoyed by guests.

Analytics
Our backoffice offers 3 main analytics charts, which can consolidate usage for several or individual properties. It allows staff to track trends and shows usage of isolated apps, such as Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, Disney+ and more.

In the general chart, we chose to use percentage values since, due to PMS integration, we are able to normalise values with the occupancy, preventing sensitivity to low season or events that disrupt occupancy levels. For individual property analysis, staff will find cumulative adoption for the given time interval, as well as the number of unique guests/rooms that have used the solution.

Monitoring
The chart shows the status of the Chromecast solution in all properties, helping staff find possible anomalies, such as network irregularity or device tampering. It also offers operational status information about all installed devices, which is valuable to both our tech support team and the hotel’s IT and maintenance staff.
