Trust International Chosen by Singgasana Hotels & Resorts for Worldwide Distribution

Singgasana Hotels and Resorts has chosen to partner with Trust International for its wide array of hotel distribution services including CRS, GDS, IDS (direct connect), IBE, Mobilebooker and PMS interface.

Singgasana Hotels and Resorts, a premier hospitality management company, will use Trust’s distribution services for its deluxe and first-class hotels, residences, a golf course and an international convention center in key destinations in Indonesia, such as its flagship properties The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, Ayodya Resort Bali, the Jakarta Convention Center and properties in Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar and Lombok.

As recently reported by STR Global, hotels in the Asia Pacific region experienced mixed results in the three key performance metrics during August 2013 when compared with August 2012. The region’s occupancy ended the month with a 3 percent increase to 71.8 percent, with a double-digit average daily rate (ADR) increase to 19 percent for Jakarta Indonesia, attributed to Indonesia’s steady economic growth. Singgasana Hotels and Resorts constantly seeks selective opportunities to develop properties providing its signature Indonesian hospitality services and quality management capabilities regionally paired with the excellent reservation and distribution services

“Hotel groups in the Asia Pacific have been embracing our services to streamline the entire booking process and reduce costs, resulting in the rapid expansion of our customer base in the region,” Trust’s managing director, Richard Wiegmann, said.  “With the international economy in turmoil and hotel bookings declining in nearly every market for the industry as a whole, we believe that the Asia-Pacific market’s moderate consistent increases in bookings and revenue illuminate the growing strength of this powerful marketplace and demonstrate a measure of independence from the broader economic marketplace.”

Recent studies reported by HotelMarketing showed that Indonesians are the most likely to research and plan their trips online.  It also found that APAC travelers across all countries favored hotel websites for pricing.
