Schulte Hospitality Group not only decided to renew but to entrust 80 more properties to VENZA’s comprehensive security awareness training program.

Schulte Hospitality Group chose the Everest® package which includes PCI DSS SAQ preparation, a policy template library, phishing campaigns, internal/external network scanning, a personal program coach, posters/job aids, webinars and data breach coverage. SHG prides itself in using cutting-edge technology that is available to provide efficient methods to manage PCI Compliance at their hotels and superior guest services. To do this, they align with partners that provide “white glove” service and put protecting guest data first. SHG will train their “human firewall” using the ever-evolving VENZA InfoSec awareness program as well as monitoring their properties internal/external networks for any security threats to property/guest data.

SHG’s portfolio consists of 151 hotels, in 31 states, serviced by 8,400 team members responsible for 21,405 keys breeds a forward-thinking point of view based on the understanding that the best time to handle a security breach is before it ever happens. The vigilance shown by Schulte Hospitality Group is something that should be emulated within the hospitality industry; it’s more than just checking a box in a compliance questionnaire but empowering staff with real-world knowledge that protects guest data on a daily basis. “Schulte shares the same dedication to service that VENZA does. We needed a security vendor that would align with our passion to protect our guests,” said Joe Deffert, director of information with Schulte Hotel Group “We feel that VENZA has proven this dedication, so it seemed prudent to align more of our properties to their program,” said Deffert.

“We are proud to continue the work we have done with Schulte Hotel Group over the past year and are thrilled to continue the relationship with the opportunity to serve additional properties/staff,“ said Josh Bergen, president of VENZA “Our methodology of prescriptive coaching strikes at the heart of the hospitality industry’s data protection vulnerabilities, not least of which are the human errors which are responsible for 52 percent of breaches,” said Bergen.

Drawing on decades of experience, VENZA is a data protection company that can help organizations mitigate their vulnerabilities and ensure compliance, keeping guests and their data safe from breaches. By delivering a security solution for readiness, reassurance and response, VENZA offers 360-degree visibility for proactive management of risks—so users can focus on guest service and building trust in their brand.
