VENZA, a leading provider of data protection and regulatory compliance tools for the hospitality industry, announced the promotion of four members of the customer success and security teams. The moves highlight the company’s ongoing commitment to staff development and retention through internal advancement.

As part of the promotions, John-Michael Salyer and Cat Salyer have been named Junior Customer Success Coaches. Their primary responsibility is supporting clients when implementing and executing VENZA’s core programs, such as Denali and Everest. The customer success Team provides program coaching that guides clients through all aspects of their data protection and compliance efforts by establishing program timelines, holding periodic executive calls, and assisting with direct support to general managers. The customer success team also holds weekly proctored training sessions that certify large groups of employees in security awareness.

The VENZA security team has also had promotions with the appointment of Charles Smart as senior security analyst and Christine Wadsworth as senior security associate. In their roles, Smart and Wadsworth are responsible for facilitating PCI DSS compliance efforts, as well as supporting privacy management tools. The security team assists clients in completing PCI DSS self-assessment questionnaires, conducts external and internal vulnerability scanning, and provides tools to monitor the security of third-party vendors.
