The last few months have again seen SiteMinder achieve numerous milestones, including the launch of its product extranets in multiple languages for hoteliers as part of its commitment to helping them attract, reach and convert global guests.
The multilanguage capability is available within SiteMinder’s Channel Manager and TheBookingButton. Hotel users can now access the complete administration behind these products in the primary languages of some of the world’s most tourist-ready markets, including Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Thailand and Indonesia. Additionally, guest users of hotel websites designed by SiteMinder’s Canvas can also now switch between these languages as well as Chinese and Russian.
SiteMinder’s managing director, Mike Ford, said the development was about enhancing the hotel user experience. “We are fortunate to have 20,000 hotel customers that already find success in managing their online bookings with us, and today is about further investing in those hoteliers so their day-to-day jobs can be that much easier with products that are available in their native language,” he said.
Over the past quarter, SiteMinder also won the coveted Top hotel Star Award in Germany in the online category for its product, The Channel Manager.
The announcement placed SiteMinder’s Channel Manager in the top, Gold position, as voted by subscribers and affiliates of Top hotel, Germany’s most-read hotel magazine.
In April, the company secured one of its most exciting channel partnerships in new hotel distribution platform Fastpayhotels. The partnership makes Fastpayhotels the only channel available through SiteMinder’s Channel Manager that provides hotels payment at time of booking for their rooms, up to 390 days in advance of stays and with no refunds for cancellations.
SiteMinder has also maintained its leadership in providing two-way integrations for hotel property management systems, with the recent addition of IBC,a leading independent and boutique hotel provider.
