Agilysys InfoGenesis™ POS
Agilysys InfoGenesis POS is a comprehensive point-of-sale solution for food and beverage operations that require flexible enterprise configuration, superior scalability and extensive integration capabilities. The system’s service-oriented architecture (SOA) enables interfaces with a wide range of host systems, such as gift card and guest management solution providers. The system also integrates with a number of Agilysys solutions, including Agilysys Lodging Management System®, Agilysys Stratton Warren System, the Agilysys Visual One™ suite and Agilysys Eatec®. For electronic signatures captured at the point of sale, integration with the Agilysys DataMagine™ document management suite enables annotation, archiving, searching and distribution of signed check images.

Agilysys InfoGenesis POS version 4.3.1 was released in January 2012 and has the following feature highlights:

  • New quantity package ordering interface
  • TMX labor solutions integration and support for Order Guard, including biometric readers for TMX clock-in
  • TPG enhancements to support cover count, special instructions, team serving, multiple payments (cash, credit card, folio, loyalty and gift card) and address verification service (AVS) postal code
  • Support for two new Symbol 2D scanners
  • Support for Epson TM-T70 printer
  • Support for Xriver LXI tablet wide-screen DT 390

Inventory and Procurement Solutions
Agilysys Eatec
®
Agilysys Eatec is a leading enterprise inventory and procurement system for the foodservice and hospitality industries. Core modules focus on inventory control, menu engineering and forecasting. The system’s modular structure enables properties to construct the exact sets of features needed – whether an enterprisewide solution or a single-site solution for multiple functions. Recent enhancements include:

  • Lot tracking enhancements to track ingredients related to products sold. This includes products sold to specific catering clients.
  • Requests for approval (RQA) functionality improvements for combining multiple RQAs into one purchase order for like items, locations, suppliers or delivery dates.
  • Production planning automation for combining requisitions and automatic generation of production worksheets.
  • Automated transfer routing functionality for finished goods between production kitchens and/or outlets.

Agilysys Stratton Warren System (SWS)
Agilysys Stratton Warren System (SWS) is an industry-leading inventory and procurement software solution that manages the entire supply chain process at one location or across multiple properties. Recent enhancements include:

  • Purchase order line item selection sort features.
  • Blanket purchase order auto release enhancements.
  • Enhanced price variance validation features.
  • Bid specifications by preferred vendor.
  • Purchase profiles improvements.
  • Ability to resubmit email notifications for approvals.

Self-service Solutions
eCash by Agilysys and eMenu by Agilysys provide cashless payment and Web and kiosk ordering through the use of self-managed, stored-value accounts. The solutions, which capitalize on consumer demand for the convenience of cashless payment, enable hospitality venues to reduce transaction costs and improve guest service. Agilysys Self-Service is now fully PA-DSS certified.

Self Service 3.3 version was released in September 2011 and has the following feature highlights:

  • Support for a clustered SQL database environment.
  • Allow anonymous e-cash: It is now possible to configure a commerce store to accept e-cash or stored value tenders from anonymous customers who have not signed in by enabling the “allow anonymous” checkbox for the specific e-cash or stored value tender on the tender types configuration page for a commerce store.
  • E-cash as default tender: The new use registered e-cash account as default tender in commerce store configuration option specifies whether or not e-cash is selected as the default tender in a commerce store that accepts e-cash as a tender for customers with a registered e-cash account.
