In January 2017, with the addition of our new CEO, Ramesh Srinivasan, we began a journey to transform Agilysys into a productdriven hospitality technology leader. Since that time, the decisions that we make day-to-day have been grounded in a mandate to be obsessively customer-centric, to invest in the markets which we serve, and to be an engineering-driven company.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have modifi ed our operations to align with government mandates and the recommendations of the CDC, but our commitment to those priorities has not changed. We continue to maintain our prior levels of customer service. Our ability to take on new projects remains intact, and most importantly, the aggressive and steady investments that we have made in our research and development organization remain strong. Our focus on product modernization and innovation has served us well, particularly in the current COVID-19 environment. Today we are bringing high quality, valuable technology solutions to market at a rapid pace. This lets our customers quickly transform their businesses as needed.

Our strategy is to be the end-to-end provider of technology solutions that enable valuable interactions with guests to enhance their experience - from booking to checkout. When you think about your guests’ journey, from the point of first contact until the time to market to them again, we want you to think about your partner in hospitality, Agilysys. While the guest journey remains essentially unchanged, COVID-19 will continue to have a dramatic impact on guest expectations.

The challenge for our industry is that every guest enjoys a superior experience in a safe and comfortable environment. To that end, Agilysys has many innovative products available today that give our customers the tools to deliver a new standard in guest service. From online booking to checkout, we have an entire suite of solutions that help our customers provide a safe and healthy guest stay. Our commission-free online booking engine starts the journey and puts the guest in the driver’s seat, along with helping the property optimize wallet share. Mobile and kiosk check-in and checkout, two-way guest communications, keyless room entry, kiosk and mobile food ordering and contactless payments - all can be enabled with Agilysys products that are available today!

Behind the scenes, our customers can leverage the functionality of their Agilisys PMS system to manage room availability rotation, while our table management and reservations system helps to manage social distancing in restaurants, bars, and other multipurpose venues. We can help to manage new room cleaning regimens and other staff activity around guest service in a contactless environment. The tools required in today’s hospitality environment are not on a future roadmap, they are here today with more on the way, at Agilysys!
